The watch is very very nice, exactly how it was represented.Our problem is that after being here barely 2 weeks, the watch has stopped working.The second hand moves very sparactically and does not keep time at all.I am planning to have a jewler test the battery to be sure it is good, hopefully that is all that is wrong.If not How can I get it made good?

1920's Triangular Masonic Pocket Watch Review

This pocket watch came in two days.I ordered it on a Friday evening and it got here on Monday.It was packaged in a really nice presentation box and the chain is sturdier than on the cheap pocket watches you can get in those discount market stores.
The detail in the embossed case is remarkably sharp and the tools images are crisp and high quality themselves.There aren't any sharp edges to catch anywhere in your pockets (one of the things I was wondering about) and the finish really is durable.The front glass could be a durable medium of some kind of polymer although I have a hard time distinguishing it from glass and is thick and resistant to scuffs and scratches.
Eye catching and interesting piece to own.

I got this watch as a replacement for a misplaced watch given to me by my sons.It is a very nice looking watch and the color scheme, with semi-luminescent dots, is quite striking and elegant.As mentioned by another reviewer, the clasp needs to be carefully pressed before closing as it does not close easily.I have found the knob (which has three positions -- two for setting, one for running) a bit difficult to place in the right position.My primary complaint, which lowers it from five stars to four stars, is that the three small sub-dials are basically unreadable unless one has VERY good closeup vision.I just ignore them and enjoy the rest of the watch.

I am 14, and love pocket watches. I was looking for a good one to buy that wasn't too expensive . . . Then I found this! It keeps great time, you have to wind it, but I think it's better than having to buy new batteries. It is very easy to set, wind, and use. I only have one problem with it (which is why I didn't give this 5 stars): When it came in the mail, the wooden box display had a long crack across the back of the top; I was a bit let down from that. But otherwise, the watch was in great condition, and so was the knife; they both work great! This a great buy, and the crack in the box was probably just a shipping error. This is a very nice watch, and definitely worth what you're paying.

This watch does not have a good finish on it. I had ordered four of them for groomsmen gifts and all four of them had scratches on the surface or had small bumps. The wooden box is pretty cheap too and it has made in china stickers all over it. I would not recommend buying this for anyone that you like.

Coleman Silvertone Pocket Watch Review

I wasn't expecting too much watch for this price but from the other reviews I thought I'd be getting at least a good deal. I was wrong.

When you pop out to set the time, the minute hand flops around a teenie bit so when you set the time you have to be careful how you click the set knob back in or it can move the minute hand a little. Not very accurate and really annoying to me.

However, yes, it's fine for the price I guess but I'm now looking for another pocket watch. It's not worth it for me to send it back so I'm donating it to a thrift store and spending more money this time for something with a bit more quality.

Fullmetal Alchemist Anime Pocket Watch Review

For those of you interested in buying this watch, it is a beautiful piece. Though, do be aware that there is four (maybe five) versions of this watch out there that I discovered. The version offered and shown here is the best in appearance to me.

The watch is very beautiful, though the time set dial is a tad touchey; something I've already gotten used to after a few days of having it.

The watch doesn't come with an owners manual either. Something I wish it did come with. I'm unsure of how to get inside of the watch and change the battery (doesn't seem to be clockwork (wind-up) mechanics). I will likely have to take it to a watch smith once the battery dies; Don't want to risk breaking it.

The other versions out there have slight differences:

Version 2:
Has Fullmetal Alchemist written in english on the back instead. Also, the inside display has a seperate dial for seconds. Seems to be commonly packaged alongside the pendant though can be found seperate.

Version 3:
Has Fullmetal Alchemist written in japanese on the back instead.

Version 4:
Has Fullmetal Alchemist written in japanese & english on the back instead. Also, the inside display has a sperate dial for seconds.

Solid watch well made case is simple and yet very attractive.The small hands for date, day of week and month are small.I find them hard to see.It would be much better if they were magnified.Keeps time well, is slim and has been dropped 5 or 4 times yet shows no effects of my sometime rough handling.Good all around value.I washed watch in HEAVY DUTY CYCLE, found it in bottom of washer, pronounced it dead, me out 50 bucks.Next day picked it up it was working total of three days later it was keeping perfect time to include sub dials.Not water resistant per company. It's been over a week and still working great!!!

Colibri Pocket Watch Hunting Case with Chain Model #PWQ092008C Review

I bought 3 of these as groomsman gifts for my wedding a bit over a month ago.They allarrived in short order after ordering.

The watches each looked slick, and all of the guys really seemed to like them.I can't really comment on their durability or how well they're performing in regards to time-keeping, but I'll be sure to update this comment if I hear anything from the guys.

3 minor caveats, however:1) the 'stand' (that second section that flips out from the back-side of the watch) is connected by a simple hinge that barely supports the weight of the watch - so I don't think these would serve long-term as a desk clock (as I was thinking they might, if called for).2) The watches arrived in a box that seemed a bit big for them - with no plastic cradle to sit in (they were just freely moving around in the box) - so it took a little bit of prep-work on my end to make them them presentable as a gift. 3) One of the watches arrived with the chain disconnected from the actual watch... but after looking it over with a magnifying glass, I was able to easily snap the connecting U-joint onto the watch... and it appeared to be as good as new.

Even considering those 3 minor drawbacks, this is definitely a 4-star purchase as far as I'm concerned.

Colibri Pocket Watch Gunmetal with Chain PWQ096813Z Review

This product has two main flaws the chain and the manual it came with. it's riddled with typos and grammar errors with, instructions that are hard to follow and need more explanation.

The second would be the chain it came with. The chain is approximately 10 1/2 inches which is only long enough to go from the front pants pocket to the first belt loop behind from the pocket. The length is sufficient enough to wear with a vest with little chain showing but the clasp is a Spring Ring Clasp which is far to small (approx 1cm) and can bend when leaning against a wall. The clasp is barely large enough to clip onto some belt loops and I was unable to clip it around the thread of my vest. Over all a disappointing chain.

The calendar function of the watch works fine as well as its easy to set. I dont know quite yet what happens on a month with only 30 days in it since I got the watch in december I won't know until the end of January if it goes to 31 or turns over.
