Although the Pierre Cardin Gold Tone Pocket Watch was sent swiftly, the casing was obviously damaged and used when I had spent extra to ensure that it was new. Because I had purchased the watch for my father as my gift to him at my wedding, I didn't have the time to have the watch sent back to be replaced. I purchased gold polish to try to remedy the situation, but the extent of the damage to the casing was too deep. All in all, I would not buy from this seller again.

Official Seal Pocket Watch - Navy Review

This is a cheap pocket watch but there is nothing I can find wrong with it's quality so far. The only thing that I can see that needs improvement it the numbers on the face.

The numbers are made of chrome and without a good light source they turn almost black. If they were white it would be easier to see the numbers in low light conditions.

Dakota Mini Clip Microlight, Cream Military Dial, Green Case Review

This watch is the perfect size. I read some reviews that you can't read it in the dark. Hog wash! I just put my hand in front of the light and it reflects with plenty of light to read the watch. Also if you just flash a white light on it it is illuminated for quite a while. It clips on my belt loop and I hardly even know it's there. I had a larger watch that clips on and it kept hitting things and finally broke. This watch does not hit anything and looks new after a month plus one weekin the pouring rain hunting in Western Washington. If and when this watch finally dies I am getting another one just like it! Also the little red light is plenty bright to find your way around at night or locate something you can't see in the dark.

A previous reviewer must have forgotten her glasses when looking at this watch to write her review. The characters on this timepiece are much older than the ten year olds she claims adorn the face of this beautiful timepiece. This is a fabulous collector's item and one that no Harry Potter fan should be without. Although not a numbered edition, these will probably be at the top of many HP watch collector lists for years to come, much like the "Time Turner" pocketwatch. This model is refreshingly original, with a beautifully colored and very appropriate dial for "Goblet of Fire", and an elaborately carved Hogwarts crest on the cover. The dial scene is in keeping with the more "serious" tone of GOF, and the characters are shown as more mature and wary, a change from the playful scenes from the earlier watches and corresponding books. SII and WB should be highly commended for this and I hope they keep up the good work!

Men's Dog-Tag Watch with Chain and Carabiner - Silvertone Review

I love whimsical knickknacks. I love the simple charm of analog time pieces. I hate wearing a wrist watch and prefer instead to carry it in my pocket. This handsome silvertone dog-tag watch with a carabiner clip-on was the perfect objectification of my fancies - or so I thought.

It happened one day when I pulled it out of my pocket and saw to my horror a star-shaped crack in the middle of the glass face! I really couldn't imagine having inadventently bumped it hard enough to put a crack on it. I had been carrying wrist watches in my pocket for years and had never put a knick or crack on the glass face of a single watch.

This watch has a lot going for it. It is a watch with Japanese movement (however, the outer casing is most likely made in China), it is well-designed and attractive, and it has a durable and corrosion-resistant aluminum body.

I don't fault this watch for the mishap and have instead rated it 5 stars just so I don't skew the rating of an otherwise wonderful product. However, I can't help but surmise that perhaps the glass faces on these watches aren't very resilient.

Conclusion
----------
I would caution you to the fact that the glass face on this watch might be a little prone to breakage. Barring that, the Men's Dog-Tag Watch with Chain and Carabiner is an attractive watch that keeps very good time.

Gave one each to our sons over Xmas, and it's a nice watch with great novelty and timekeeping is excellent.The box is exquisite, wood. Watch opens to show Roulette wheel (where's the ball?).Small gripe in that, to see the hands accurately, one almost always has to open the cover; although there's a glass "face" to the clsed watch, the hands go beyond the edge of the glass face, making it difficult to tell which is the hour hand and which is the minute hand.Colibri could assist with future models by making the sall hand thicker, or different in some way other than length alone, from the big hand.

I absolutely love this watch. The gears on the face of the watch and the silver lines on the back of the cover are very charming. The clock face itself is smaller than I expected though, about 1.5 inches diameter. The chain is a good length. The clip is very sturdy; it fits very snugly on a belt loop or pocket hem and definitely won't come loose. The watch comes in a hip-looking canister, but only the warranty is included. I really love this watch box. No I don't think it's real wood but I honestly don't care (it'd be more expensive if it was quality wood obviously), it looks like the pictures. It holds all my watches plus a bit more. The only complaints would be that 1.) the lock does not work at all (would have been nice but oh well) and 2.) mine had damaged edges... not sure if it's just mine but I'm not picky so I didn't care about returning it (plus it's on the back so I can't see it anyway). This chain is billed as "premium quality".What a laugh! It is nothing of the kind. It is a cheap chain with very flimsy fasteners on both ends. I probably should have guessed it was of poor quality when they stated it was "stainless steel plated". In addition, it was shipped in a very large box when a small padded envelope would have been appropriate. Perhaps this was to justify the high shipping cost ($6.99). Amazon should screen the products they sell and those who they allow to sell on their website.

this watch is lovely. i can't stop looking at it. i got an excellent gold box deal on the watch, including free shipping, and when it came i was a bit nervous because the outer box it came in (not the shipping box but the outer box that houses the watch) was damaged so i was worried that the watch would be damaged. but no, it is perfect. now, i think it's a little big for a ladies watch (not that women really wear pocket watches...or many men in this last half-century for that matter) and yet maybe small for a man's watch but i (a woman) will wear it as much as i can anyway. really it was worth every penny, water resistant and mezmorizing to look at; i'm the kind of person who has no sense of time, and has never owned a wrist watch let alone pocket watch so if it can win me over, you will love it.

Skagen Chrome Black Leather Pocket Watch #443LSLC Review

I bought this watch as a fathers day gift for my husband.It looked nice and he loved it, but sure enough about 2-3 weeks in,the watch just stopped working for no reason at all.It was quite a disapointment because it seemed like a nice watch when I bought it but aperently it is defective , since I am not the first costumer to have had this problem wiht the watch in a matter of only a couple of weeks.
