watch looks nice I just thought it would come with a chain, it did not come with warranty information as stated in description
Just received this in the mail today and I am very excited.It feels sturdily made, and the mother of pearl face is beautiful.The only critique I would have is that the chain does not seem to be the same high quality as the pendant.I will probably replace it.
The image shown from amazon has a beautiful watch that I was interested in purchasing for someone.When it was delivered I was shocked when I opened the package to see a giant black and red Firefighter emblem on the watch, an emblem that is not shown in the image for this watch.
My husband has a knack for breaking watches, no matter how durable they say they are. So this time I opted for a clip watch as a gift for him, and after reading other reviews about the Dakota MiniClip, I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did! My husband works with a lot of tools and machinery at his job, and says he never has to worry about his watch getting busted anymore. This one stays clipped to his belt loop, and the clip is very sturdy. The red microlight isn't anything special, but it's fairly handy, and that was more of a bonus for him anyway. He's happy with it, and I don't have to worry about purchasing any more watches! The antique finish is nice too, it looks like a brushed silver.

I like the design of this watch, but its date number is too small for the older eye. The chain that came with the watch broke within a months time.

I'm not sure if the exact layout is a copy of an older Masonic watch face or not, but it looks nice and the watch itself keeps amazingly accurate time considering the price. 
I bought this case with the hope that it would adequately house some of my larger watches, and because my collection has grown beyond my present storage capacity. My first case is nicely made with solid watch pillows, but it is just a bit on the shallow side, presenting a small problem with the larger models.
Feels kind of cheap and plasticky, but that's to be expected, given the price.On the good side, that makes it very light.The watch is easy to set, and is keeping good time so far.The compass, which folds behind the watch when not in use, has a tendency to slide out, but that's not a big deal.Not sure this would stand up to daily use, but it's a good item for the weekend hiker to clip to their backpack.

Fiance loved the cobalt colour and the gentle tinking sound! I am very pleased with the gift and i chose also the gift re lifetime guarentee, big influence also on my choice of brand.Fantastic re delivery, arived early! also good communication with seller! All emails answered promptly! Just wish i could have had option of paying for gift wrap! It did come in a box but id have liked it wrapped .Id recomend this highly for a bf,fiance or a Gift for a Professor!
Junk.The instructions said to wind 30-40 times or until there was resistance.I wound it about 60 times and never felt any resistance.It worked for less than 10 minutes.I wound it about 100 times, still without any resistance and it barely kept time for 20 minutes.I have another mechanical pocket watch and it doesn't require winding every 15 to 20 minutes.This watch is made in China, no where near "Paris," and it's going back to Amazon.I wanted a silver colored watch instead of gold but was feeling cheap so I bought this one.You won't be saving any money by purchasing this watch, it's not even heavy enough to use as a paper weight.
What can i say if you like masonic things you should like this watch like i do.
No problem with this product, but I never again buy other products to Amazon if delivery company is DHL.

Glass dome was a replacement for one that I broke. Was delivered quickly, was in great shape and now my grandfather's watch looks beautiful again.
I'm kind of old fashioned, I prefer mechanical or automatic watches over battery.I had ordered another USMC pocketwatch and was disappointed in the quality.This watch is much, much nicer.The emblem is painted on or enameled and looks very good.The watch has a nice heft to it for an article as small as a pocketwatch. I like to feel something solid in my hand.The finish is good, a bit shiny, but I believe with age and wear it will take on a nice patina.I like the face, it's easy to see and for an old ex-Jarhead like me, that's important.It has the date at the 3 o'clock position, and it's easy to see too.I like this watch, even though it's battery powered.
I purchased this watch box for my husband for Father's Day. It came in a very timely manner and looks more expensive than it really cost. It is a great buy and really holds 4 watches in a drawer saving way. I highly recommend this product.
I bought this watch because it was cheap and fun looking, but it came not working. I realized that it would cost way to much to return or exchange it and it would be a better idea just to invest in a more expensive watch that I knew would work. But I decided to try changing the battery first. A new battery for it cost 2 bucks at OSH and now the watch works but I wouldn't buy from this company again.
