Waterproof Watch Case Opener in Wooden Box Review

Waterproof Watch Case Opener in Wooden BoxUnless you're experienced at watch repair or highly intuitive, this may not be the ticket, since instructions aren't included. The holes for the various heads were not entirely filled, so either there were too few heads or too many holes. Also, the heads won't adhere to the holes, so keep the box right-side up or expect them to bounce around while moving the wooden case. There was some rust on the hinges--sort of a rustic touch to what is largely a home-carpentered box.If this ends up being an objet d'art in my "antique drawer" rather than a practical fix-it tool, I'll appreciate the added authenticity.A reminder of the days when people fixed timepieces rather than discarded them in favor of a new one--or, for that matter, none at all (young people no longer wear watches.Cell phones and iPods have replaced them).

Before long we'll look back on the age of watch-wearing with the same fascination as we read about the once-fashionable women who wouldn't leave home without their decorative box of snuff (for the "newer" reader, the finely ground tobacco that was sniffed.Last time I checked at Walgreen's it was no longer stocked).
