Masons Classic Masonic Pocket Watch Review

Masons Classic Masonic Pocket WatchLooking to add a little Masonic magic into your life without a trip to the local lodge? This pocketwatch might just be the ticket. The outside shell is especially shiny and has the square-and-compass. Pop it open and you've got a different symbol for each hour of the day. I'm not sure if the exact layout is a copy of an older Masonic watch face or not, but it looks nice and the watch itself keeps amazingly accurate time considering the price.

I got the watch as a gift a few months back and have used it once in a while when I attend an event where I'm wearing a vest and want to make a bit of an impression. It's definitely a conversation piece, and a good gift for anyone who's interested in Freemasonry. Given how shiny it is, I also imagine this would be a great prop watch for a stage magician who does hypnosis as part of his act. It would definitely be visible under the stage lights!

The 'gift box' is basically an ordinary box with a lovely removable lining on the inside with contact paper on the outside. The glue wore out too quickly and the paper lifted, revealing that the box has no true hinge. You get what you pay for, I suppose.
