If you like pocket watches that are work worthy , then buy this one. I use it as an alarm to wake up in the morning and use it all day long. The only reason I bought a new one was that I lost my other one! (I took it off it's tether and then lost it in a debris pile as I was working! Won't do that again!) It keeps time relatively well, I check mine monthly. All in all a good sturdy time piece.

The large silver watch case measures 58mm wide (2.28 inches) and it's topped by a raised bezel with compass-like accents. The easily readable white dial includes a full Arabic numeral display (with smaller inset 24-hour notations), small minute indexes around the exterior, date window at 3 o'clock, and luminous baton hands. It also includes another hour hand in red that sets the alarm. It connects securely to a belt loop via the braided leather lanyard strap with stainless steel clip, and it comes with a brown genuine calfskin leather pouch. Other features include the classic Swiss Army insignia at 12 o'clock, , scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and water resistance to 30 meters--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.
